An Exciting #GolfChat Last Week

If you missed #GolfChat last week, you missed an exciting one.  Natalie Gulbis joined #GolfChat to give away free tickets to the US Open at Chambers Bay.

@UWedge and @Front9Back9 won free tickets but were unable to go.  I know @UWedge gave his tickets to @YourVideoPros who was able to attend a few days of the event.  And they also gave me tickets for Sunday so I gave them to my best friend, a Black Hawk Helicopter Pilot who lives in Tacoma, WA.

Lexus contacted me the day after our #GolfChat on June 9 with an idea to get Natalie Gulbis to join us and give away free tickets to the US Open.  And I thought it would be awesome.

I’m excited to see what the future has in store for #GolfChat.  If you have any ideas on how we can make it better, please let me know.

And thanks again to Natalie Gulbis, Lexus, and all of you for participating in #GolfChat.

This Tuesday’s, January 20 at 5pm PST, introductory topic for #GolfChat is Golf Slang.

What’s your favorite golf phrase?  What’s your least favorite saying?  What’s something you heard someone say, but had no idea what it meant?

#GolfChat is a Twitter chat that will take place every Tuesday from 5pm to 6pm PST.  Golfers and golf enthusiasts will have a place to get together and chat about golf and golf-related topics on Twitter every week.

Join us weekly for #GolfChat!

Our topics of discussion will be:

  • Question #1:  What type of golf slang do you use out on the golf course?  What are some of your favorites and what do they mean?
  • Question #2:  Where is the real leadership in golf today?  Is it the USGA, the PGA, the GCSAA?  Some other Golf Organization?
  • Question #3:  In honor of Rory’s first professional Hole in One, share your Hole in One Stories with us?
